GB/T 39560.4-2021 Determination of certain substances in electrical and electronic products—Part 4: Mercury in polymers, metals and electronics by CV-AAS, CV-AFS , ICP-OES and ICP-MS (English Version)
This part of GB/T39560 uses CV-AAS, CV-AFS, ICP-OES and ICP-MS methods to determine mercury in polymers, metals and electronic parts. This part specifies the determination of mercury (Hg) content in electrical and electronic products. These materials can be polymers, metals and electronic parts (such as: printed circuit boards, fluorescent lamps, mercury switches). Mercury-containing batteries refer to reference [1] for processing. The international laboratory methods study only evaluated the detection method for plastics and not for other types of matrices. The sample in this section refers to the object of processing and testing. What the sample looks like, and how it is obtained, is determined by the institution performing the test. See IEC 62321 2 for further guidance on how to obtain representative samples for the detection of restricted substances in electronic products.
